Stay safe

  • Meet in a public place, or with someone you trust, the first time.
  • Never pay a “registration”, “training” or “security” fee to get a job.
  • Never pay a deposit or advance for a room or flat you have not seen.
  • Check the owner’s ID and the property papers before paying anything.
  • Report a suspicious post with the Report button, and call 1930 for online fraud.

How the noticeboard works

Posting is free. Every post is read by a person before it goes live, usually within a day. Posts come down on their own: jobs after 30 days, rentals and sales after 45, events the day after the event. If you see a post that looks like a scam, press “Report” on it. Three reports take it down for a second look.
